Our little piglets gave us a run for our money today (an ironic saying because we don't have any money. or piglets.) So they're going to tell their story-which happened within a two hour time span this morning. We won't go into the rest of the day.

LEAH-

This is what happens when I'm out of preschool and I don't have a schedule anymore. I literally spin and jump out of control. I also jump on my parents. It's so fun! I can't decide if they like it or not. Where are all those bruises coming from, anyway?

HANNAH-

This is what happens when you put a bath toy in the broiler. Mom didn't get the memo about my experiment until she smelled burning plastic instead of the sticky buns that were baking. Don't worry-I didn't like that toy.

HANNAH AGAIN-

This is what I do for 45 minutes when

a)I have a huge diaper blowout on my softie (favorite blanket)

b)Mom and dad put my softie in the wash

c)no one would give me more apple juice

Rule #1 about softies-there are NO acceptable substitutes.

Here we are making up. Leah wanted to take a picture of us. For some reason, mom was tired and cranky all day. Maybe she should stop blogging late at night and get some sleep. Some of us enjoy getting up at 5 am, okay!?

That someone that enjoys getting up at 5pm IS NOT YOU. Nor is it me. Love our little girls, just need them to keep normal business hours. I'd settle for 6:30 or 7:00am to about 7:00 to 8:00pm Su-Sat. Naps would be nice too.

I'm sorry I sucked today and that I wasn't the knight in shining amour coming in on the white horse to save the day. Me and my stupid, self absorbed-issues.

Hopefully the night out, the afternoon (in part) with only Hannah and me with Leah, the clothes folding and putting away, the bathroom, and random yet inconsistent acts of childcare and household aid softened the blow a tincy wincy bit, though I know with the kind of heat our girls and our weather has been bringin', that it and I, should have been better. Guess I just didn't have the bat speed today. "But tomorrow,... is another day!!!"

Love you,

Brian

I continue to be impressed with the way you deal with these situations. I think I would totally lose my head and freak out. Brian, you're such a doll to read your wife's blog like this and comment as much as you do. You two are a formidable team! :)

Shannon-you are a great supporter! Having two Tasmanian devils has definitely improved my sense of humor. Brian and I had to come up with some way to communicate :).

What a sad video...what a hard day...
Hopefully nothing that a good nights sleep and chocolate won't fix. :)
