My niece's photography
My niece took some pictures of us at Thanksgiving. I'm turning into a fairly bad picture shooter these days--my pics of Thanksgiving were abominable at best and I can't find any of my birthday. Probably because I let Leah have the camera, so we have a lot of the floor, her Build A Bears, and the t.v.
This is the most stressful time of year for me--finals are next week. I have three of them and all are comprehensive. I've decided to make a public announcement: I make a terrible student (that's not a surprise to most of you). I get good grades and all, but sitting through class is so boring I want to poke my eyes out. In fact, I bring a large bag of diversionary (?) activities to help me get through the 6 hours of class I have every Wednesday. It includes computer games, treats, different colored pens, and more treats. Sometimes I forget to be discreet and whip out a novel. I might really get rebellious tomorrow and bring Kettle Corn. I will never understand the point of sitting through long lectures. Ever.
Anyway, back to photography. I think she did a great job-these are so telling!
Don't let her fool you. She's the devil in disguise.
See?
My favorite Hannah quote lately is "Mom, you're a one man band." That is SO true on every level.
Looking angelic in blue eyeshadow. She just won "Pizza With the Principal". The school started a system of giving stamps to kids behaving well. When you get a stamp, you put your name in a drawing to have Little Caesar's pizza with the principal. Sounds like a punishment to me, but I'm proud of her for trying so hard. She loves school and I love her for it.
This is me wishing my family could start taking better pictures of me. And reminding myself to get a new hairstyle already.
