Some self therapy

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now about two topics, so I thought maybe writing would be therapeutic. Or I could bottle it up and take it out on Brian tomorrow :)

Topic #1 Our Financial Situation

It's no secret that since we are wrapping up a phase of life and trying to move on to another that the bank account has been a little unsteady. I'm not embarrassed to talk about it because I really feel like we're trying very hard to make things work. Anyway, I decided to start teaching piano lessons. It was a tough decision because it will cause us to rearrange our humble abode to accomodate students, and the going rate for piano lessons in Logan is abominable. I got my first student today and I've been advertising, so hopefully my 'studio' (that's a music nerd term) will grow. Also, my former empoyer called and wants me to translate for about a month while they are finding a new social worker. Long story, but I think I will do it.

Topic #2 Too much to do around here...

This is Brian's favorite subject. I'm not even going to get into it, I'm just going to write a list of the piles of ______ to do right now. Fill in the blank with your favorite adjective, like Mad Libs.

1) homework
2)dishes
3)laundry
4)garbage
5)clean out car from the food fest the girls had
6)lock up stroller, clean up yard mess
7)muck out house to get ready for piano lessons
8)sleep too much
9)grocery shopping

Ahhh, I knew that would help. I'm feeling better already. Maybe I should get off the computer and start working on #8...

Except for the piano lessons and homework bits, you pretty much summed up my life!

Holy cow I'm scared to have children. We have like a 30% chance of having an autistic child and we are totally poor. I don't know how you do it. I would be a wreck. It's good to see an honest un-sugar-coated version of young family life. hats off all. hope to see you guys soon.

Young family life isn't all bad...I'll try really hard to think of something positive :) Check back in a month, maybe? I hope we get to see you guys oon, too. Our car can't leave Cache Valley, so maybe you guys good come to Logan and hang for a bit. You know you love it here.
