*Quick side note--we had a GREAT Halloween in Mapleton. Very quiet and laid-back, my funny kids didn't really want to trick-or-treat. Hannah spent the majority of the time passing out candy at my parent's house and Leah spent the time watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown with my dad. We ate a pumpkin shaped pizza and chatted. It was lovely and I would show pics if I had the energy to hook up my phone. Sorry, just don't have it in me right now.
Here's an idea of what I'll be doing this week:
- Implementing a new math program that I just bought to help my students learn basic math facts
- Giving 3 Woodcock Johnson tests (not oral).
- Starting a reading fluency program with my students that the district wants me to do.
- Supporting a husband through 4 med school exams that start tomorrow and end sometime next week. Absentee husband and a daylight savings time difference is making a very lonely me right now. Hence the blogging :).
- Stapling a border around my Word Wall bulletin board. Gosh, my life is exciting.
- Still reading?
- I've been doing Pilates Anytime. It's several hundred pilates videos on a website that you can choose from--all different lengths and difficulties and stuff. I love it!
- Going to my niece's Variety Show in Logan. We are SO looking forward to this and very excited to see her.
- Preparing for a substitute on Tuesday so I can go to boring Special Ed Inservice in the afternoon, which sounds more like getting admitted to the hospital than just being a training meeting.
- Finding a babysitter for Wednesday afternoon so I can sit through another long afternoon of meetings I won't pay attention to. (Insert Candy Crush playing on the iPad. Incognito.)
- Not playing the "I'm thankful for something everyday" game on Facebook. I am grateful for Jesus and grass and my kids (sometimes) and I admire people who share that with others. But we all know I'm too disorganized to keep that up for an entire month.
- Didn't I complain about that last year? My apologies.
