We're back in business

"This blog made possible by a generous donation from the J and K Day Foundation, and from viewers like you. Thank you." This is only funny if you watch PBS kids, and even then, it's not that funny.

In other words, due to a generous contribution ($1.37) from an anonymous donor (Jakey-Wakey), I bought a bit more storage and can now show pictures. {cue audience applause}

Here are some blog statistics that I thought were interesting:

Total page views: 10,400
Total posts: 374
Total posts containing random content: 371
Cost of having blog printed into a book: $110.00
Posts I started but didn't publish: 65. Probably offensive rants about SOMEONE'S ex-husband. I know one was boasting my GPA, but it sounded too braggy so I didn't follow through.

The next obvious question is, Who are all you people? I think my blog should be titled "Blog of people who read but refuse to comment". But now that I said that, I need to make this completely clear: I don't blog for other people. I don't care who reads and who doesn't. I started this as an outlet to vent a few frustrations and musings, mostly about motherhood. I would still blog if no one was reading. So, unknown readers of mine, thank you for stopping by and I hope we chat someday when you're comfortable with it. Please continue to not comment. I glad we have that kind of relationship.

An actual conversation I had with my dad this week:

Me: "My blog has had over 10,000 views since I started it."
Dad: "You have a blog? How come I didn't know about this?"
Me: "If that's really true, there is something wrong with you."
Me: I probably shouldn't have said that last part. That one was spoken silently.

Ironically, I made a stink about not posting pictures and now that I can post pics, I'm too tired to. Maybe tomorrow. I say that a lot, don't I?

Despite numerous invites, dad doesn't read my blog, either! So glad I get to be 1 of the 10,000!
