I haven't posted in two weeks, which is a bit longer than I usually go. I'm not ignoring you. I'm not trying to avoid posting way too much pictures of my girls or bore you with silly anecdotes of our fairly mundane life. Actually, I had finals and I'm tired.

So anyway, here are a few boring anecdotes about my mundane life. I love my life, it's just a bit blasé right now:

*I've decided to pull Hannah out of preschool. Her teacher has gone off the deep end--constantly moving her kids around, in and out of this boyfriend's house. I tolerated it for along time but the changes are affecting Hannah now. She keeps wetting her pants at school and has been more fussy than usual. So, no more preschool. It's gonna be a long summer, folks.

*Leah wrote the cutest story for school.

"I would not like my own room. I would miss my sister. I would be lonely. I would be scared at night. It's good to share."

There is a very sensitive soul in there.

*I am doing a new job at church. Instead of being a secretary for the Relief Society (women's group), now I'm a secretary for the Young Women (teenage girl's group). I'm trying not to be frustrated about the secretary theme. Here is a speech I will never give:

"Look, people. I'm not organized. I stink at papers. I can't keep planners. It's a miracle the bills get paid. My to-do list usually involved petting the chickens and playing Ticket to Ride. I'm willing to help out, but don't expect much."

It's been a bit of an up-and-down week trying to transition into the new job. And at this point in my post, I can't decide how much to say about that and how much to leave out. I think I'll just play Ticket to Ride.

eff eff (space) jay jay (space)! Leah is sweet and you will make a great secretary because you have great ideas and know when to tell people they're smoking crack. Plus also Hannah will be just fine and I play lots of Ticket to Ride (and plus also I play Words with Friends and Blockus).
