Here are their school pictures for this year. I think they are starting to look more alike. Who really cares, though, since they're both so darn adorable. Yep, I'm a proud mom!!

Out On the Town

Hi, Megan!! So good to hear from you! You've been on my mind a lot lately. I hope that means you and your fam are ok. Here's an answer to your question: The Match, or more accurately, THE GREAT AND ALL POWERFUL MATCH OF DOOM AMD DREAD, is where medical students find out where they do residency and in what specialty. Think of it as an arranged marriage. I will figure out how to post comments eventually. For now, this will do :)  Jacob and I have been making an effort to go out more-- for several reasons. Mostly to build our relationship, because we actually genuinely enjoy each other's company. But also to get away from those needy children and for pete's sake, we live in the fun capital of the country.  Tonight was my choice so we went to Greek restaurant in the middle of Chinatown. Month in Review

Sooo...we're glad February is behind us. Here's a few highlights of how our month went: 1)Brian's LSAT disappointment. Does this need anymore explanation? 2)Car trouble. In case you didn't know, we are driving the same van that my parents got when I was in high school. After a week and a half in the shop, we were told that it needed a transmission and that would be $1200, please. Everyday I recite this mantra "I grateful for a car, I'm grateful for a car." On the plus side, it has been the source of a lot of jokes. Jen's new nickname for it: the Shortbus. 3) Skip. This is a guy that Brian went to high school and church with and came to visit us after our wedding. He got us a ice cream maker. He was just arrested for murdering his parents. When I met him, he was working at Wells Fargo. When he killed his mom and dad, he was a professional gambler. How does that happen in a few years? As my brother would say, "Judas." 4) School.
