Dear faithful readers,

I know I haven't posted in a while and I'm very sorry. It's been a roller coaster couple of weeks and the fun hasn't stopped. I survived divorce education class. It was pretty lame. All of the divorce paperwork has been signed and turned in, now we have to wait for the judge to sign it. It can take up to 60 days but I hear that 3 weeks is average. Then I will be an official SINGLE MOM. *shudder* The past few days have a been a blur.

Hannah was up all night with the barfs. Skip this paragraph if you don't want to hear about it. She throws up about 5 times in a row, then repeats the process every 15 minutes for 2 hours. Then there is an hour of stomach cramps. She's been on this schedule since birth. It happens about every 4 months. I don't think anything's wrong, but if some stomach bug is going around, this is how she reacts. I don't like doing the graveyard shift without a nap all day. Cranky mom. Too many carbs.

I keep wanting to make a list of my kids funny sayings. Hannah--whose miniature brain is in constant overdrive-- has had some real gems the past day or two:

"I'm the school cheetah." Huh?

"Mom, just so you know, avocados aren't healthy for your body."

As we were picking out a ballet leotard: "Actually, it's called a HANNAH-tard." She thought we were saying LEAH-tard. So now she wears a Hannah-tard to dance. On Saturday, she informed me that her doll was wearing a BARBIE-tard.

Hannah: "Mom, could you please pass the octagon crackers?" She was referring to oyster crackers.
Me: "Actually, they're hexagons."
Hannah: "Ok, can you pass me the oxagon crackers?"

"Mom, I made you a bead necklace out of spheres and cylinders." I didn't know she knew those words!

"T.V. is so stupid."

"I'm going to get Sponge Bob Squirt Pants fruit snacks." She's been saying squirt pants ( instead of square pants) for a while and hasn't figured out why we all keep snickering.

Anyway, thanks for keeping tabs on me. I've been up for 18 hours now. I'm going to bed.
