Week in review
Here's a bit about our week-aside from the wonderful dishwasher event. We haven't really stopped moving, plus I have some nasty allergies from the horrible air quality that Logan gets every year at this time. I spend my time while I'm awake blowing my nose and rubbing goo out of my eyes, and while I'm sleeping I snore quite a bit (according to Brian).
Leah fell asleep in the car, all wrapped up in her 'softie'. "Mom, I'm the sun," she said. There's a piece of tape on the blanket with her name on it because she took it for show and tell at school.

This is Michele. She's 15 years old and moved here from the Dominican Republic a few months ago. She has been meeting with LDS missionaries and wanting to get baptized for months, and a few weeks ago her mother gave her permission. She was SO excited! I teach her in my Spanish Sunday School class, and now her mom is coming to the class. My allergies were raging right here and I spent the baptism with a roll of toilet paper in my hand-that Leah kept trying to unravel.
I'm posting this picture of Hannah doing play-doh because it represents our life right now...and I'm not talking about cleaning up after children. I am in school and teach piano lessons, so I spend a lot of time away from home. Brian has the lucky job of taking care of the girls and he took this picture one of the times I was away. I have a feeling I'll look at this picture and say "Remember when I was finishing school and you had the girls so much?" and then maybe we will start convulsing or bawling or whatever.
She's really into birthday cakes so that's what she's showing the camera.

I just want to pick up Leah out of that picture in her softie and snuggle with her. So precious.
I'm also really glad that you got to go to the baptism. Too bad that your allergies/cold kept you from being able to teach Michelle and her Mom in her class today! I know you would have if you could.
love your posts!
