Tidbits

So much stuff happens in the course of a day, but by the time the girls are asleep I am so tired and frazzled that I don't feel like writing anything. So I'm going to put down a few highlights of the past two days in a very boring list format. That why I don't have to think creatively.Did I spell that right?

*Yesterday Hannah fell asleep in the car for about a minute (no joke). The best part was that she started talking in her sleep "kitty...kitty..." It was so cute and funny!

*The girls and I celebrated Dia de los Muertos by having rice and beans for dinner and walking through the cemetary. These things aren't unusual for us (there is a cemetary across the street) but I wanted to acknowledge the Mexican holiday since I'm supposed to be relearning Spanish. De nuevo.

*Today I hosted a rotating preschool group at my house. Five four year old for two hours. I learned a few things about the experience:
Leah is quite smart and knew more than anyone else. Yes I am a proud parent.
I'm so glad I don't have boys. They really bugged me.
I will also not be doing this again because-

*Leah got into a preschool on campus, so she'll now be going to preschool five day a week. It's something we all need and I think she'll do well there.

*Brian is slowly recovering from his massive upper respiratory infections. I have not recovered from the cost of his prescriptions.

*How in the world am I going to teach a Sunday school class in Spanish? I'm having a mild panic attack about this whole deal. Which brings me to my next point-

*I'm starting organ lessons tomorrow. I hate the organ and have always been completely unwilling to learn, but the bishop asked me to and I felt guilty. I will be playing in sacrament meeting once a month. So this is what my church experience will look like on those Sundays:
1st hour-play organ in sacrament meeting
2nd hour- teach en espanol
3rd hour- lead music in Relief Society

It's going to be even better if this falls on a Sunday when Brian is at work.

I'm too tired for more of this dull list. I'd be surprised if anyone is reading this last line...I'm boring myself....

I read the whole thing. One thing that help me mejorar el espanol was listening to the radio and tv in Espanol. Tambien revistas. Si quieres placticar...llamame. Vas a ser un trabajo buenisimo.

I read all the way through as well. You don't bore me. Trust me, after my high drama day, I much prefer to hear about yours.
