A bit of catching up on the last few months
I haven't posted in FOREVER, mostly because of a) time and b) i lost the USB cord for my camera. Both terrible excuses, so I'm sorry. This past month was spent in total mayhem. I am now working at a jr high school as a Special Ed Technician (which I love!). I'll be doing a licensure program to start teaching special ed, which starts in January. I've also spent about 4 hours/day practicing for a senior piano recital, which has turned into an ugly saga that I'm currently in the middle of. I'll probably do an update on that, but a few things need to get worked out first. Some of these pictures are repeats on Facebook.
Anyway, Hannah's birthday was in February. She was extremely excited about the whole event. She wanted noodles and rice for dinner (Chinese food) and a pink cake. She enjoys being the resident princess.

Grandma made her a chef outfit so she could make cookies (read: lick the bowl).
The Walkers came for Easter weekend. I think we wore out the Queen Bee. Sorry, Ma.
Hunting for a Basket Full of Copious Amounts of Sugar. Hooray!!!
I loaded the girls into the car this week and took an impromptu trip to Las Vegas. I got a great deal on an upscale hotel with a fantastic pool, where we spent most of our time.
I hate this picture of me, but I know a lot of you are secretly wondering how I'm coming along. This shot is for you...you know who you are...
Leah was highly impressed with the dancing fountains at the Bellagio. I can't blame her-I've seen them many times over several years and they still blow me away. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjCsKMAczrI. The video quality stinks, though.
Leah also wants you to know how much she loves her stuffed cockatoo. They are both little nuts!!
Our hotel has a Cirque du Soleil show featuring Beatles' songs, so all over the hotel are Beatles themed restaurants, shops, bars, music, etc. I would have payed a lot of money to go this show, but they weren't playing on the days we were there. This huge sign had little seats in it. Leah loved the 'O', and Hannah was just trying to fit into one of them. If you're feeling out of the loop, 'Revolution' comes from a Beatles song.
